I can’t wait to try the baked pumpkin oatmeal! We are a partially gluten free household and I’m always looking for ways to make one meal instead of two!

I’ve never had chili that didn’t have elbow noodles or ready-cut noodles in it.

Im gluten intolerant and oatmeal intolerant cannot eat this recipe

  11. @rocketmom60 on February 10, 2025 at 7:04 pm

I will take what is probably a controversial opinion and suggest that gluten free is, for many people, simply another trend they wish to follow.

  12. @shayle.3 on February 10, 2025 at 7:05 pm

Celiac disease means you cannot eat wheat, barley, rye, soy, or caramel coloring. If your intolerant you can eat it if it’s made in a wheat handled facility though it will make you sick.

  13. @DianaSprague on February 10, 2025 at 7:08 pm

I love this thanks for sharing!!

  14. @abbycross90210 on February 10, 2025 at 7:14 pm

Please be aware that gluten is not just in wheat products, but also barley, rye, and sometimes mixed in with many oat products because they share a facility with other gluten products.

Very nice recipes. I love making burrito bowls. They are a great and easy meal. Hello from Canada. 😊😊🌻🌻

I’m GF, and with the gluten-free soft tortillas, so many brands are made up of different ingredients, so baking might make one gummy (speaking from experience). The wheat ones and regular white tortillas perform very diffenrtly than GF ones, and that’s not just a cost point, lol 😂

I eat gluten – free 24/7 , 7 days a week , 365 days a yr cos I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease when I turned 52 and found out 4 days before my bday . And for over 20 yrs of eating and getting sick and all that time it was Celiac Disease that was misdiagnosed , the entire time . I converted my granny’s 200 yr old banana bread that was made on a wood cookstove to gluten free and nope U cant tell its gluten free .

  22. @lovelymillie1967 on February 10, 2025 at 7:24 pm

I am just realizing 😢that I am gluten intolerant. 😢😢

  23. @biendereviere on February 10, 2025 at 7:25 pm

Don’t forget a lot of meat products contain wheat as well: mince for example, even cured bacon… and not to forget spice mixes. So it’s not just “bread options” or “oats”

  24. @joyceyager9940 on February 10, 2025 at 7:25 pm

This is a new journey for me. I was sick for several months & a friend suggested I should research gluten intolerance. After looking at the 10 symptoms, I consistently had 7-8 of the symptoms. I immediately stopped eating wheat flour and any baked goods. I immediately began to feel so much better. The store bought mixes are very spendy so I have to
learn to bake for myself. At 66 yrs old, I have to retrain my brain to not eat fast foods and other processed snack foods. 🥴

  25. @BrickColliders60 on February 10, 2025 at 7:26 pm

I used to think gluten was defecating (glutin’)

I’m one of those people who always stayed away from gluten free because it seemed kind of boring and excluded tasty dishes. Thank you for dispelling that myth. What wonderful ideas you’ve given us! I’m definitely going to try these recipes. 😁 Never did I think I would ever try something like you just gave us. But starting with the pumpkin oatmeal bake is a wonderful way to go! And I even bought a new canister of oatmeal so I’m half way there! ❣️
And I have dried beans and sweet potatoes so that takes me further into the plan. 💕
Now for something using quinoa. I picked up some last week when I visited the DT Plus. That day I couldn’t see. 😑
My eating has been poor to none the past couple of weeks. I won’t eat for a whole day and then I’ll try to eat something the next day and it’s not much better.
I had a coupon for a free hamburger so I stopped on my way home from pool therapy yesterday. I got my free hamburger, ordered a small fry and received my free senior drink. I always cut my hamburger in half so I’m not holding a soggy bun. I ate half of the burger, a few fries and drank some of my drink. I was stuffed after less than half of my lunch. I packed it up and took it home for dinner. So I ate for the whole day for around $2.00. It wasn’t the best choice but most of it was free. I’m usually hungry when I get out of the pool but I don’t always feel like going home and cooking. I guess you could say it’s a good pain I feel after therapy but I still have trouble standing to cook when I get home. But this is what I need to work on. I’m going to try some of these recipes and even make them ahead and have them ready for when I get home from therapy.🤗
You’ve definitely inspired me! Thank you for sharing these recipes and giving us some good food for thought! 🥰

  31. @lynningram9171 on February 10, 2025 at 7:42 pm

An idea instead of using gluten free tortillas is thick sliced turkey lunch meat slices.

  32. @kickasses2121 on February 10, 2025 at 7:44 pm

Yes please as suggested . Some desserts that are not that much sugar . When you have time thanks

  33. @vintagevixen8486 on February 10, 2025 at 7:46 pm

Gluten is in barley, and other foods

  34. @izzy9309 on February 10, 2025 at 7:46 pm

Onion, garlic and other spices give me gas. You use many ingredients that cause gas in many of us. Can’t do your recipes.

  35. @catwhothinkheapitbull on February 10, 2025 at 7:47 pm

Theres absolutely no reason why someone who is not celiac should avoid gluten. While grains are an essential part of the diet and the challenge to being celiac is replacing this need.

  36. @empresslonnie1love391 on February 10, 2025 at 7:48 pm

Next maybe boil the sweet potatoes 4 a little. Let them cool you can always use them later

  37. @lwilkinson333 on February 10, 2025 at 7:48 pm

Thanks for making the gluten free recipes. I’m looking to use common food items that are naturally gluten free like these.
