I always make my homemade crust using a food processor. Either way don’t buy a premade crust if you can help it!
I am finding it hard but then again I’m trying to breastfeed a baby to their nap and getting interrupted I’ve put dough in fridge 3 times
I just made this today for a pecan pie, and the pyrex dish shattered in my hands. The pie WAS perfect, and the crust looked so good. 😭
OMG! Those hoppers you have for the dry ingredients, like flour, that are built into your drawers are the most brilliant kitchen feature I’ve ever seen in my life. So jealous!!!!

Why doesn’t she cook pie crust for at least ten minutes.? I’d done that before and let it cool down and added my filling it makes my pastry a little flaky to the taste and not raw dough.

I have been making pies for about 10 years now and have never been satisfied with my crust until this video. It turned out amazing! Winner winner chicken dinner – with an apple pie with the best crust ever.
