For your chicken and vegetables recipe, if I substitute chicken breast for the boneless chicken thighs, do I need to adjust the cook time, or would it still be 6-7 hours on low?

I live with my partner, and as a man myself, i tend to do the groceries, always looking something that is on sale to buy or finding the right price and bring it home to cook. Im myself considered as budget friendly, i love cooking asian food. When i bump into your videos, i really admire your passion, kindness, humbleness, and as a YouTuber nearly 1 million subscribers, you put your time and effort liking comments and even reply to them. So much respect and love to you. ❤❤❤. You deserve so much love from the world. I dont normally comment on videos, but i feel i have to. Happy new year to your family, keep up the good work you’re doing.

I do a similar one to the quinoa enchilada. I just don’t use the quinoa (can’t stand it).
How do you prevent your pork tenderloin from going dry? Every time I do one in the alow cooker it’s dry as a bone 🙁

  4. @angelacastro3418 on February 10, 2025 at 6:54 pm

Ok Julia, tell the truth do you use baby spoons and forks. Your hands are so tiny that they fit perfectly. I had all my counter tops replaced. I thought I was going to lose my old lady mind. Poor baby girl. What time line do they have?

  5. @elizabethmefford7200 on February 10, 2025 at 6:56 pm

I made the slow cooker chicken and rice. We don’t like brown rice so I used white rice. It tasted good but the rice was a mushy mess. Any suggestions on how to make the recipe with white rice?

  6. @maddyraizor7630 on February 10, 2025 at 6:58 pm

I just want to say I absolutely love your budget meals they have saved me through a tough financial time I will definitely be ordering your cook book soon !💕💕

Hey looking for easy crockpot meals. I’m so glad I’ve found you. These easy meals are perfect for me, I have epilepsy and have lots of trouble concentrating on cooking. I used to be a decent cook and having to learn over again. These meals look great. I actually like using crockpot liners they make clean up easier ❤

  8. @kimberlyford4825 on February 10, 2025 at 7:01 pm

I make something just like your enchilada recipe. I like to add poblano peppers to mine! Great recipe, Julia!!!

  9. @rachy9824 on February 10, 2025 at 7:01 pm

Do you happen to have a link or info for nutrition facts/calories for these meals? I’m doing the chicken burrito bowl today and I’m very excited! But I’m also trying to be mindful of cals for the week.

  10. @monicamonteparte on February 10, 2025 at 7:02 pm

The first recipe with the chicken and balsamic vinegar was really good. I felt like I had come home to a fancy dinner.

  11. @elizabethp2395 on February 10, 2025 at 7:04 pm

Another great Crockpot round-up! These all look amazing – awesome uplevel on the chicken + veggies! You have so many good ones for crockpot chicken + veggies; I love them all and the balsamic is gonna be a hit with my hubby. Sending you lots of love as you start your year, Julia!

  12. @kayb5 on February 10, 2025 at 7:06 pm

That Greek chicken (minute 8 or 9?) looks amazing!

  13. @shannonalanna9538 on February 10, 2025 at 7:08 pm

Your videos saved me 2 years ago when I also had no countertop and only a slow cooker 😊

  14. @LW62FL on February 10, 2025 at 7:08 pm

Love this! Recommended for singles, too, bc you can store and have dinner from the freezer later! Also loved the last minute asparagus, could do that with kale too. Green on the top is added nutrition!

  15. @vickyrun8796 on February 10, 2025 at 7:09 pm

I have not cooked with Quinoa before, I have eaten it so it’s good. I bought some Quinoa today and I am going to try your recipe tomorrow. So excited to try it. I love anything with corn and black beans.

Six hours of cooking in a PLASTIC bag, nooo, I’d rather clean up the mess left in the slow cooker. Thanks for sharing these recipes!!

  17. @paulmarais4988 on February 10, 2025 at 7:11 pm

Madam, why is there a plastic bag in your slow cooker

  18. @bettyboop32 on February 10, 2025 at 7:11 pm

Don’t feel bad about washing dishes in the bathroom!! I had to do that once myself, too. It’s not easy, but you do what you have to do. You will laugh about this later in life. My kids and I laugh about it to this day!! What an experience that is!! Don’t want to ever go through that again! I have had a lot of ups and downs my whole life, but now I can laugh at some things because I am amazed at how I handled every low part of my life. Seems like we have a lot in common. We have ups and downs and we still manage to put a smile on our faces and move on like a trouper!!!!! Happy New Year, Julia!!! ❤❤

I am so excited about healthy crockpot meals! I need to get healthier and I am newly diagnosed with breast cancer so this matters to me. Thank you so much! See all of these items available at Walmart? Is there a way to list the ingredients needed. Thank you, Liz

  20. @jadestudiogame on February 10, 2025 at 7:15 pm

Cooking in a plastic bag is a REALLY BAD idea.

  21. @cynthiapadget5770 on February 10, 2025 at 7:16 pm

I can’t wait to try the Greek chicken dish – it looks amazing, just as you are. Look at you! Improvising in your current space. Thank you so much for all you do for others. Blessings!

  22. @latoniamoodley7562 on February 10, 2025 at 7:18 pm

I didn’t know you could use plastic bags in the slow cooker….what plastic bags are those? Makes it so nice with No mess

  25. @KeiferElliott on February 10, 2025 at 7:25 pm

Can I use water instead of chicken broth? I’ve tried bouillon cubes and I just don’t care for them.

  26. @angelacastro3418 on February 10, 2025 at 7:25 pm

I can’t wait to try the Greek yogurt dish. Your so good. I’ll let you know it looks good. I’ll have Pete grab some naan. You’re so easy to cook with. We love you sweet girl. You are smart you are healthy you are full of love you are blessed. God bless you more. Angela

  27. @tashainjena on February 10, 2025 at 7:29 pm

I always get hungry watching your videos. And that’s a good thing since I’ve been struggling to eat for the last month due to illness.

  28. @ceciliagarcia7090 on February 10, 2025 at 7:30 pm

How can I order your cookbooks?

  29. @breanne2117 on February 10, 2025 at 7:31 pm

I am meal planning for the week and this is awesome! One thing that was a game changer for me was realizing everything that goes into a crockpot does not have to be a soup. Just a little but of liquid and treating the slow cooker like an oven actually works! Ive even baked potatoes in it! No liquid, potatoes wrapped in foil, and it works!!!!

  30. @ashleystewart2809 on February 10, 2025 at 7:32 pm

Love your videos and creativity! Something I would be interested in is a video that builds meals around the idea of using all non-perishables (canned foods, dry goods etc). Especially considering the winter storms and fires and everything else going on around the country, what ideas would you have for meals using non-perishables and typical "food pantry" type items?

  31. @GypsyNette143 on February 10, 2025 at 7:32 pm

    thank you for sharing

  32. @Littledm13 on February 10, 2025 at 7:33 pm

  35. @teresaparmelee3319 on February 10, 2025 at 7:36 pm

Hi, thank you for you channel I love what you are doing. I was wondering what you might suggest for a Tomatoes replacement. I’m allergic to Tomatoes. I’m excited to make the lentil recipes you have provided.

  36. @robbie75713 on February 10, 2025 at 7:36 pm

I would have left that broth in the Greek chicken!

  37. @user-xp5qx8wg9x on February 10, 2025 at 7:40 pm

That quinoa recipe is really original and it looks delish. Nice!

Do yourself a favor and ditch the plastic. Nano particles are being released and building up in your and your babies body ❤ happens when plastic is heated

  43. @neeferpd on February 10, 2025 at 7:44 pm

I just discovered this channel minutes ago, and this is only my second video I’ve watched. I’m already sooo interested in recipes from just these 2 videos. How can I know if they are in the cookbook? And how many books does Julia have out?

  44. @jasonburns7351 on February 10, 2025 at 7:44 pm

Love your videos and cook book. Every recipe that we’ve tried of yours has been a hit! We would love to see a top 5-10 gluten free video

  45. @barbaraplourde5777 on February 10, 2025 at 7:45 pm

I would rather use skinless, boneless chicken breast instead of thighs. How much more time would I cook in the crockpot?
Thank you so very much for your quick and easy meals. It is very enjoyable watching your videos and your beautiful smile. ❤

I’m beyond excited! My husband just surprised me today with your cook book! It’s even one of the signed copies! He was smiling ear to ear as I immediately started looking for my post it notes to mark pages with. I been asking for months and didn’t think he remembered. I can’t wait to dive in! I love you and your creativity with food. All your videos; especially your low budget but healthy meals or quick cook ideas are my most watched. My daughter wants me to make the Hot Cocoa cookies.

    Thank you!

    Gah I’m excited 🎉
