    The most important part is removing the seeds!! Tomato seeds when cooked cause bitterness in your sauce.

    I’m not gonna blanch the tomato, include the skin, core and seeds, I want all the nutrition I can get even with a tougher texture. Thoughts?

    Question! If you use the dry basil why not put it in while sautéing the onions?? And why not use fresh basil?
