so the "storage" underneath the oven is actually meant for keeping already cooked food warm… fun fact

  12. @leeanncornell8305 on February 10, 2025 at 7:06 pm

Perfect for me. Been cleaning out and reorganizing the kitchen. 😂 so much already out the door. 😂 Still have to clean out the spice rack turner built into the corner cabinet. Ugh

  14. @sweetsapphire88 on February 10, 2025 at 7:14 pm

Kathryn, i’ve got to tell you that your positive attitude makes me feel so much better! It really is all about your attitude when it comes to organizing and being successful in life in general. I always go into organizing with the mindset of “UGH!” But you make it look easy! I can’t wait to buy some of those pot lid organizers and make my own Cabinet spinner. It also really helps me some days to hear that I am enough ❤.

  15. @obrazu on February 10, 2025 at 7:15 pm

    Where’d the toaster oven go?

  16. @karenlebeter4196 on February 10, 2025 at 7:15 pm

That kitchen is big, compared to mine. I just redo it regularly to maximize usefulness. Been here 2.5 years, had to move during covid to make way for a warehouse.

Great to see. I would love a pantry but here in Northern Ireland, and I think the UK in general, not a lot of houses have a pantry. We have a small kitchen with just some cupboards. Some kitchens, especially in more medium size houses will be a bit bigger and usually will have some kind of large larder cardboard, or perhaps a utility room which will have extra cupboard space…but a walk-in pantry is pretty uncommon unless you are living in a very large/grand house, or have perhaps built an extension to your own specification. So this video is a breath of fresh air. So many other kitchen organising videos are completely unrelatable. A lot of other videos suggest freeing up counter space by putting all your appliances into the cupboards. A nice idea in theory but only realistic when you have a nice pantry room to put lots of your food and supplies in or a large kitchen. When all you’ve got is a small amount of kitchen cupboards they quickly become used for the food, crockery, cookware and cleaning agents. You can store a couple of appliances…and then there’s no more room, anything else has to find a place to sit out without getting in the way.

Please come to my house Katherine. I hate my kitchen

  30. @Tara-t6u on February 10, 2025 at 7:29 pm

I have an over the door rack on the kitchen door that holds measuring cups and wire baskets that has other measuring cups and spoons hanging from the door rack, works awesome for a baker or when cooking you don’t have to dig for measuring items

  31. @Widowfarm on February 10, 2025 at 7:30 pm

I like your channel, but being a christian you should know you are not enough. You need jesus!

  32. @marygegare1604 on February 10, 2025 at 7:32 pm

Hello dear I so enjoy your videos. I did notice that you stored oil above the stove. I used to do the same thing until one of the Pediatric Nurses I worked with some years ago her self cleaning oven started on fire. When the fire hit the cabinet above with the cooking oils her entire house went up in flames. I now keep my cooking oils on the other side of the kitchen.
Just a word to the wise I wanted to share. I love your videos!
    Blessings,
    Mary
P.S. I love my Wednesday Bible Study girls too! ❤️

  37. @GreaseLightning02 on February 10, 2025 at 7:38 pm

The biggest reason for the transformation was the decluttering. The little shelves, lazy Susan made things more aesthetic but having very few items in each cupboard makes them easy to see even without these extras. Granted a lot of people have outdated items, duplicates of utensils etc, but a lot of people still have very full cupboards even when removing the surplus. Sometimes the best use of space is by cramming everything in – even when you spend half your life emptying out half a cupboard of saucepans just to get to the one you want. The ‘helpful’ shelves actually take up space themselves. Bottom line is there is no magic that happens here. If you have a small kitchen but a lot of kitchen stuff – all of which you need, then this approach won’t help you a great deal.

THANKS. JUST. NO. TIME. TO. ORGANIZE. !!

  39. @FlickMamiiOG on February 10, 2025 at 7:39 pm

I just moved on my own and I’m struggling to keep my kitchen organized or how my system should be. This helped a lot thank you!!

    This channel is gold!

  41. @lynneclark5313 on February 10, 2025 at 7:43 pm

Wonderful and inspiring video! LOVE the "real home" part, since I also live in an apartment. LOVE also the Dollar Tree videos – I live on a small SS check. I hate to be the one to tell you that the drawer under the oven is meant to keep things warm until you need them.

  42. @Thegladlyoutsider on February 10, 2025 at 7:45 pm

Thank you so much for this.
I know this video is about cleaning.
But it was something else so much more for me……And all I can say is Amen

  43. @jennifermiller4622 on February 10, 2025 at 7:47 pm

So glad I found you on YouTube! You are an inspiration! I have started my own reorganizing in my home! Thank you! Can’t wait to see more videos!

  44. @dawnrobbins5877 on February 10, 2025 at 7:47 pm

You did wonders for that kitchen! It looks so homey now!

  45. @rosalinaayala5963 on February 10, 2025 at 7:47 pm

I have the tiniest kitchen ever so I use my ironing board as a temporary surface whenever I need more counter space.

  46. @bobbybacon3478 on February 10, 2025 at 7:48 pm

Homosexual "love" does not conquer "hate" and just according to the Bible, if youre going to go by it, God absolutly hates it. Not my words, God’s.

  47. @kris0369 on February 10, 2025 at 7:48 pm

I love your ideas first time I love it, a lot of organizing go over board, most of us are on budget, we can’t afford a whole lot. Thank you I appreciate your ideas.

  48. @williampennjr.4448 on February 10, 2025 at 7:49 pm

Great video, but your not supposed to store things in the broiler of a gas stove. It can cause a gas buildup while cooking.

  49. @rook3504 on February 10, 2025 at 7:49 pm

We just moved to a new (older) house and the kitchen has challenges: cabinets that reach to the ceiling but aren’t deep enough to hold our plates; under counter storage that’s too low to see (some of us have bending issues). 😁 And everything has to stay wrapped while we deal with a lovely insect issue. Otherwise, the kitchen is empty and huge. How would you organize it?

    God Bless you both! 🙏
