    Is ceramic safe?

  3. @vanessasmith4630 on February 10, 2025 at 7:04 pm

Paul I need to know which brand of stainless steel pan!! All of the ones I’ve seen, even the most expensive ones, have an aluminum core. If aluminum doesn’t matter then great. One more question, ceramic pans were not mentioned by you but I see good things about them. Are they true?! Guide me in your ways Paul 🙌🏻

    Thanks Paul 👏🙏💕

I cook with stainless steel and my grandpas old cast irons but sadly I grew up with my mom cooking on non stick. And it would be scratched up too.

    THANK YOU! NO FOREVER CHEMICALS!!

  7. @rushfanjames2112 on February 10, 2025 at 7:10 pm

I’ve used ceramic nonstick pans for eggs and delicate fish, low to medium heat is fine with them.
I use stainless steel pans equally.
I do appreciate Paul and his efforts though 👍🏽

What about like the ceramic coated ones?

  11. @badcat1002 on February 10, 2025 at 7:14 pm

Is it REALLY PURELY stainless steel, though? I mean 💯 % ? What brand did you just show us in this video that was "purely stainless steel"? Most companies say they are stainless steel cookware, but have aluminum alloy in the core. @Paul

  18. @charlottebuck6907 on February 10, 2025 at 7:20 pm

I only use stainless steel and cook with beef dripping

  19. @NotEvenDeathCanSaveU on February 10, 2025 at 7:20 pm

What about ceramic coating from certified manufacturers? Some say it’s the only safe non-stick but you have to be careful not to scratch it because then there’s aluminum underneath but that’s the case even for stainless steel however that one is harder to scratch.

  20. @Mark-lq3sb on February 10, 2025 at 7:25 pm

This guy needs to educate himself to ceramic coatings. Just like stainless, there are rules to follow when it comes to use and maintenance. If you use metal/wood utensils and as to be expected you’ll damage the coating in the long run. Silicone utensils are recommended and are easily found anywhere. Plus, do not use spray non-stick. READ AND FOLLOW DIRECTIONS before use!
If you’re worried about what brand to use get GreenPan. It’s a Belgian brand founded in 2007. They invented ceramic for use on cookware. In 2019 a lawsuit was brought against them claiming false advertisement and concluded with no findings of liability by the company. The case was dismissed. The company statement was, what we said about our products is true. "Thermolon" (brand name.) coating is free of PFAS, PFOA, lead and cadmium.
I bought a 12" stainless coated skillet and a 1/4 sheet pan. Didn’t have to bring-up the skillet to a certain temp before doing eggs like stainless. They literally slide around and out. The sheet pan is great, it’s cast, meaning heavy and won’t warp under heating conditions like aluminum sheet pans can (if you ever hear that "pop sound" in the oven when baking that’s the aluminum wrapping under heat. It usually returns when cooling.) I used nothing as far as butter or anything else on the ceramic sheet pan when baking split chicken breast and thighs. I had to be careful when removing from the oven because the surface is slippery and the food can move around. Let the ceramic cool completely before washing, and cleaning was a breeze!
Don’t get me wrong, I still have my stainless pots and pans and I will still be using them in certain situations.

I was reading that Hexclad got rid of PTFE’s ( not just PFOA) as over late this year 2024. That its now ceramic. Not teflon anymore like it was before. Did you see that? I’m considering it because of that. Thoughts?

  23. @wizzer3847 on February 10, 2025 at 7:27 pm

Stupid , stainless steel contain too many heavy metals , when aluminium is only one metal, think about it again stupid stainless steel head

  24. @muttbull on February 10, 2025 at 7:27 pm

    What about ceramic?

  25. @WyrdoMusic on February 10, 2025 at 7:28 pm

What are the best brands for stainless steel cookware?

  29. @daillengineer on February 10, 2025 at 7:32 pm

And remember restaurants cook using mostly aluminum and that leeches into your food. Linked to Alzheimer’s.

    What about cast-iron?

  31. @junta00 on February 10, 2025 at 7:34 pm

    What about ceramic?

  37. @davidhunternyc1 on February 10, 2025 at 7:41 pm

It would be great if you did a deep dive into so-called "ceramic" cookware which isn’t actually made from clay. Ceramic cookware is the emperor’s new clothes and no one is questioning the safety of it.

  38. @StuartTownsley on February 10, 2025 at 7:42 pm

    Stainless
    Or glass?

  39. @bitsens on February 10, 2025 at 7:44 pm

Can you do a video going into more detail about types or cookware? There are hardly any solid stainless steel pans sold because steel has poor heat transfer. Usually they have a bounded aluminium disk or are tri-clad. Also cooking acidic stuff like tomato sauce could leach stuff off stainless steel? It’d be good to know about this. The only thing that doesn’t leach is an enamel coating

  40. @uptoyouThailand on February 10, 2025 at 7:45 pm

Don’t wash them in the dishwasher and throw them out when they get old and start peeling. If you can use your brain you should be fine to use these

  41. @NebZmar on February 10, 2025 at 7:46 pm

    Or cast iron ……..

  42. @dennisreeve6270 on February 10, 2025 at 7:49 pm

Cast iron griddle pan is the best for meat. I’m suprised he doesnt know that. Shame on him! Never use stainless steel!

  43. @genesismillion on February 10, 2025 at 7:53 pm

Too bad stainless steel leeches heavy metals!!! You’re wrong here! Do your research. The safest is Xtrema ceramic cookware or 100% pure titanium non coated cookware which is incapable of leeching

  44. @bkdk7771 on February 10, 2025 at 7:55 pm

Now you have to do 18/0 vs 18/10 stainless steel

    What about ceramic pan?

  46. @wendywertz8828 on February 10, 2025 at 7:57 pm

Only cookware that says pfas free had 600 of the chemicals they used out of it ! Only buy if it says pfas free ! No other acronyms matter ! It’s hard to find but caraway makes it and I own them they’re fantastic but pricey !

  47. @StuartTownsley on February 10, 2025 at 7:58 pm

    What should we
    Buy

  48. @getawaytosurreality6761 on February 10, 2025 at 7:58 pm
