I thought the sink with foot pedal only exists in hospital😅
Change the plumbing under the sink.
Easy to fit all more efficient.
P-trap directed to the wall …
abd that can be all.
Where did you get the compost bags?
I did what you are doing making everything from scratch, noodles, bread, you name it. My triglycerides went through the roof. Just eat meat and veggies.
The compost bags are for industrial compost systems. Not home composts
Those cord management attachments fall off …. haven’t found a good brand. I really want them to work!
I have always wondered why the foot pedal faucet control thing was not a standard in kitchens. I have wanted one for years and now that I know they exist I will have one!
I use an old salsa glass jar for my cut onions. Keeps the smell out of the fridge, and keeps the onion nice and fresh.
Open shelving 👎🏼👎🏼
Scandinavians do dish racks better – we have a cabinet above the sink with integrated dish racks and everything can just drip straight into the strategically placed sink underneath. You can then close the doors and hide the dishes while they dry. In addition to everything else; the Lean methodology for organization in the workplace can apply very much to daily life. For instance – walking. If you have your dishes in the other end of the room from the dishwasher, you’re constantly walking back and forth. Better to have your dishes right above the dishwasher – so you can just lift them straight up. Plus, of course, many other things that apply to minimize inefficient time wasters.
I love Stasher bags and Pyrex glass storage. Make sure silicone bags are pharmaceutical or platinum grade. Getting away from plastic has been a goal of ours. Great tips. Also, declutter and donate unused items and extras.
Faucet foot petal thingy is $1,375.00. Yea, we poor out here bro
Love the Kitchen Sticken – unfortunately does not ship to Canada and thankful i have friends that muled it for me – i just love it.
Love the way you have the products in the right column of your video page. Also love your video showing each item & use.
I want that foot peddle!!
The cord keeper never stays stuck to my appliances.
Look into stainless steel with silicon Lids for non canning jars. Great for storage of liquids in the many mason jars you have but not for canning use
❤
I worked in a hospital lab for years, and they had foot petals for the sinks. They are awesome!
The hanging pot really saving my back
You could put a trension rod under the sink to hold a few spray bottles. Use the tape on the top of your tomatoes. . My rack folds and I store it in a sturdy bag underdress the sink with another rack the rolls up that I can use over one sink. And also my silicone mat. I wish I had a place to hang pots and pans. I am looking at a corner standing rack but do not have room.
Magnetic Silicone grips for retractable permanent markers to put on the fridge.
That cord organizer is unavailable on Amazon. Might want to get a new link.
you look jewish
Can we chill with the Open mouthed shocked look on your face thumbnails? Its tape and a marker, not 30 pieces of Spanish gold. Are we that shocked to find this in a kitchen?
I find thumbnails where I can look inside people’s mouths extremely appealing…
Why bother with the compost bags? These bags will only breakdown in very high heat commercial competing systems. Back yard compost heaps will not get hot enough.
👎👎👎👎👎👎👎
Those compost bags DO NOT break down. I used them my first year of composting and now I have a garden full of "compostable" plastic. We just use a plastic container and throw stuff right in at the end of the day.
for regular families you dont need 90% of the things he showed. Avoid single purpose appliances and use shoes boxes as your organization tool.
That’s a sexy kitchen.😂❤ from someone with ocd.
The drain line for your dishwasher should be above the highest level possible of water in the sink so that it couldn’t flow from your sink into the dishwasher if it backs up. Many areas that would not be to code
No link for the storage baskets?
I learned that you shouldn’t wash those silicone bags with detergent or put them in the dishwasher cause they take on the scent of the soap. It’s best to wash someone just vinegar and water.
🎉
Definitely grabbing the cord organizer!! That’s a total game changer!!!!
Who told you you can’t hang a lid? All my lids hang just like my pots!
I use painters tape for everything!
My composter is a friend who has goats 😂😂😂😂😂GREAT Video…I’ll be buying several things from this! 🙌
You don’t give the kitchen scraps to your chickens…???
I really don´t get the under snk situation. Why don´t you simply change the plumbing ? I have never seen plumbing like that under the sink ever in my life. Usually the pipe that comes out of the sink goes to the back first and then around the corner, this way you have way more storage in the front. Is this some American design ? Looks like the plumber wanted to make it easy for him while installing the pipes instead of having to reach all the back back and run the pipes through the back instead. I do the small plumbing like this myself and I can store 2 full size trash bag containers on a pull out drawer under my sink. All the water lines and the stuff can be run neatly along the back board and simply covered up with a 3D printed plastic piece, or cut an IKEA cntainer open and cover it with that. This way all the mess is out of the way and you have opened up a ton of storage on the front.
Please come retrofit my kitchen- Especially the faucet foot control.
Having a spouse this organized is great…until you realize they expect you to do this too. 😊
Wow, very helpful video. Thanks!
Oh if you have kids please make sure you get child locks for your cupboard under the sink, especially if your leave dishwasher, washing machine tablets/pods out like that.
I hate hanging pots or anything really, because while cooking all the grease and mist is released in the air which then settles on anything open and hanging around, this is a terrible solution. Hang the stuff inside a cabinet.
Containers are far better than those bags and easier to clean as well. And I would never leave pans in the open. I prefer inside a closed cupboard.
We have been thru so many of the same exact Simple Human dispenser. They all have failed 6-12 months after new.
Insane to clean those silicon bags
I’m now wondering why every appliance doesn’t have a retractable cord…
