Not you rinsing the rice and beans 😭 nice recipe ideas though. Love using my instapot to cook beans.

  2. @mrscliquot on February 10, 2025 at 6:56 pm

Can you use PB2 instead of peanut butter?

  3. @DawnH123 on February 10, 2025 at 6:57 pm

If I want to buy can beans instead how many cans equals the bag of dried beans? Thank you for easy, cheap meal ideas.

  4. @BrownEyedGirl331 on February 10, 2025 at 6:59 pm

I cannot find large corn tortillas anywhere around here the only ones I can get are the very small ones. Thank you for your great ideas and letting others know being vegan is pretty fantastic, you get to save lives too-win,win!

Love to see the kids’ thumbs ups. You know it will be good! 😍

  6. @TheSnerggly on February 10, 2025 at 7:03 pm

Pro tip, save your bean water and use it to make "dirty rice!"

  7. @anonanon1982 on February 10, 2025 at 7:04 pm

    Great video! ❤

  9. @jonhester8909 on February 10, 2025 at 7:07 pm

I love all the recipes, especially the last one. I will definitely try them. I’m always looking to save money at the store.

  10. @bmg9136 on February 10, 2025 at 7:07 pm

Sad watching all that lovely bean broth go down the drain. Keep some of that bean broth to add flavor, especially black beans.

  11. @crystalwarren5718 on February 10, 2025 at 7:07 pm

That is Not how to make rice.lol

  12. @leapintothewild on February 10, 2025 at 7:09 pm

Love these ideas!! Doesn’t fit the budget, but those taquitos would be amazing with a simple salad of lettuce, tomato and avocado with lime!

Be sure to wash and pick over dry beans before cooking! You’re looking for stones and bad beans, which unfortunately do show up more in cheaper bags.

  13. @dianabates3649 on February 10, 2025 at 7:11 pm

What was the ingredient that helped reduce gas

  14. @Rachel-h3n on February 10, 2025 at 7:11 pm

Remember folks, you can sprout dry beans, lentils and peas…this releases more nutrition and is easier to digest…with less gas issues.

  15. @CitiesForTheFuture2030 on February 10, 2025 at 7:14 pm

For your refried bean taquitos, are you cooking or just soaking the dried pinto beans (the video isn’t clear)? I have seen on another YT video that soaking beans with a little baking soda overnight helps with bloating & gas (also rinsed away)…

  16. @warriormama67 on February 10, 2025 at 7:15 pm

Is there an alternative way to make the taquitos without the air fryer?

  17. @wandabarnett7554 on February 10, 2025 at 7:16 pm

I bookmarked this video to try these recipes! Love how you use your Instant Pot. ❤

  18. @jenethompsonart on February 10, 2025 at 7:17 pm

    Thank you for this!

  19. @darlenemartinez384 on February 10, 2025 at 7:18 pm

I refuse to shop at any dollar type store. A lot of their products are contaminated with lead, cadmium and other nasty stuff. Think of the cinnamon and cinnamon flavored baby apple sauce that they had to recall due to excessive amounts of lead. Nope… not gonna do it.

  20. @anumatis on February 10, 2025 at 7:18 pm

to reduce the gas and bloating we cook beans with bay leaf. And never add salt – because it prolongs the cooking time

  21. @anonanon1982 on February 10, 2025 at 7:18 pm

    👍🏻

Wow…these 3 meals seem pretty quick & easy! And, they sound/look great even for an omnivore! 😋

  25. @shannonvanostran4531 on February 10, 2025 at 7:27 pm

Please tell me the reason you cook your rice like that? I always mess up rice on the stove so i always cook it in the instant pot. But if i have to use it for something else i have to do it on the stove.

  26. @debramurphy4295 on February 10, 2025 at 7:27 pm

Wonder what they are like with flour instead of corn.

  27. @HeatherSnyder-lf8yk on February 10, 2025 at 7:27 pm

  30. @tx.tactical3165 on February 10, 2025 at 7:33 pm

Sorry no self respecting Latino microwaves tortillas…

  31. @serasplays on February 10, 2025 at 7:33 pm

For me the challenge isn’t the cost it’s the picky people in the house. 3/4 of the people here are autistic and each has a food they won’t touch and it’s always some vegetable they’re picky about. One won’t eat onions, one won’t eat peppers, and the other won’t eat beans. A lot of those are the best flavors and foods for eating vegan.

  32. @stefbmccoy8297 on February 10, 2025 at 7:34 pm

you know the food is good when your little boy grabbed 3 and ran off! my oldest is 13 and so picky. i should make these recipes soon.

  33. @Garaygirls on February 10, 2025 at 7:38 pm

you need to clean the beans before you cook with them. Sometimes there are rocks and dried bugs in the bags.

  34. @percypino8962 on February 10, 2025 at 7:38 pm

Typically USA. Here in Germany you wouldn’t call this cooking.

  35. @janetbrown9208 on February 10, 2025 at 7:40 pm

These are terrific ideas. I will try them all! Thank you 😊

  36. @camcamNo on February 10, 2025 at 7:41 pm

Little man taking a bite then grabbing two is all I needed 😂

  37. @teresitap5778 on February 10, 2025 at 7:42 pm

Oh my gosh, the kids are so freaking sweet and adorable! Looking forward to trying these. 🙂

  38. @teresa28ist on February 10, 2025 at 7:42 pm

I love the fact you show your kids eating too. Thank you!

  39. @Krisandwich4 on February 10, 2025 at 7:43 pm

I just found you today. About a month ago I’ve developed an aversion to meat. I just can’t stand the texture and can’t eat it anymore. I’m 55 and honestly have no clue what to eat 😂😳
I’m a little bit of a picky eater so I appreciate your videos as I’m navigating through this change.

  40. @arj-peace on February 10, 2025 at 7:44 pm

Love these simple and inexpensive recipes. But please please please explain why you rinse your beans and your rice after you cook them?!

  41. @karlinashieldmaiden5073 on February 10, 2025 at 7:44 pm

Sorry if I missed it, how long to cook the pinto beans in instant pot?😊

  42. @itsBASILLICUS on February 10, 2025 at 7:45 pm

  43. @greenagervegancookingwithm6429 on February 10, 2025 at 7:46 pm

  44. @jennholden-myers1631 on February 10, 2025 at 7:47 pm

  45. @vlogsnstufflikethat on February 10, 2025 at 7:47 pm

  46. @phillipjoseph on February 10, 2025 at 7:50 pm
