I replaced my GE dishwasher and this new one is just a pain. It will not drain the water. They came out to fix it and it still will not work. They replaced it with a different GE dishwasher and that one is doing the same thing. Now I have to redo my plumbing. New technology is not always good.
I would never get advice from some no name YOUTUBE channel. Then has 1.1k up vs 2k down. Yeah.. run
I like dishwasher very much.
Bought too of line bosch in 2006 and nary a problem but now controller gone. Going to replace as it has been soo dependable and if i can get another 20 years great!. Doing repair myself as quite easy to switch out. I do take very good care of it.
My Whirlpool DW is a pile of trash, the head unit needed replacing after 10 months, and now it barely washes the soap off of the dishes, let alone clean stains.
What about LG? Did anyone has any issue with it?
By bosch series 6 with zeolite. Made in germany and much cheaper and almost the same as bosch 8 series.
And I don’t have one of these top dishwashers, I only have a Miele, whaha, poor me!
My Bosch is 17 years old and still going strong 🙂
I just bought the 2 pick on this list I can’t tell I hate Samsung trash
Nope, my Bosch was problematic: E-15 signal and water tap. Repair technician said he had serviced many Bosch with the same problem, in just a two-week time frame.
They’re all shit. So just pick the one you’d rather look at.
Fridgidare Gallery is garbage. Lasted 2 years. Had water leaking out the front door, had it “repaired” and now leaking again and stink less than a year later.

Do NOT buy the Bosch. Yes it’s quiet, but does not dry well or clean silverware . I wish I had bought another Whirlpool.
Who gave samsung the 2nd place???
Samsung customer servise is a complete nonsense, i had experiance,
1. I bought samsung washing machine in april, it arrived on the day went abroad when i came back in 3 weeks and installed; i found out it is faulty. The dirty water never drains off. At time the empty machine is filled with dirty water. I contacted they shut me off saying cool off period expired. I had valid reasons and proof, they care a damn. Later sent their repair man who said machine aint’t faulty. Still having same issues!!! Now in the verge to chage brand with in a year of purchase.
2.and 3. They said 200 cash back if u buy their product i bought their diswasher and what?? It is faulty within a 2 yr and it makes loud noises and also had dirty water filled inside often!!! Now again, i had to change brand.
We have had 3 Bosch dishwashers over the past three decades. They are wonderful machines; each one seems to have been more technologically advanced, however, each successive one has been more cheaply made. For example, the utensil baskets have shrunk in size, so that in the new SHP78CM2N (800 series) that we just purchased, the basket is half the size and weight of our previous dishwasher. (Of course, Bosch is happy to sell you the old basket for $29.)
IMO the top reasons for buying this 800 model are its 1) QUIET OPERATION 2) Excellent cleaning 3) Crystal Dry technology and 3) its reliability. It has a third rack, which is nice; except the idea is that you should place your utensils in it individually within little plastic dividers. Who has time for that? There are also easily moveable middle and bottom racks. Some people may find the "Home Connect" app appealing, but I would rather not have to use my phone to operate my dishwasher.
Finally: be aware that the print and the online manual do NOT deal with two of the most fundamental questions you will have:
1) How do I know when the machine is done washing? (Answer: there will NOT be a little red light on the floor; instead, there is a white LED light inside the handle that will turn off. )
2) Is it OK to open the door and add an item that you forgot, once the machine is washing? (Answer: apparently so.)
Wouldn’t you think Bosch would mention this information somewhere obvious, and not bury it in a response to an online question, or leave it to be deduced from other instructions?
I purchased a Bosch. Broke so many times, the repair technician wrote it off as unfixable. It was only 3 years old. Total nightmare.

Our Bosch dishwasher is 11 years old this summer and it still works well.
Bosch didn’t honor a $550 warranty repair. It is close to impossible to talk to a real person. This company is shooting themselves in the foot!!
Don’t buy kitchen aide did not last two years
Samsung water wall is completely crap. It will go wrong for sure.
Damn that’s expensive strapped for cash anyway 😂guess I’ll stick my old school ways.
Love LG. It just keeps on going!
Doesn’t make sense why all the Bosch love. Before my old ge dishwasher kerplunked on me, it worked just fine. Compared to the Bosch, I miss my old old washer. Too many issues with Bosch. One, it’s designed to always store about a cup of water in the filter area to keep the plastic and rubber parts wet so they don’t dry out and fail. Sounds practical but that water ends up stinking over time. And it’s added unnecessary moisture. Secondly, mine came with one small little dingy utensil basket. Poorly designed. I had to use my old basket. Third, which is probably my biggest gripe, the tine design. Dishwashers are meant to be convenience and time saving solutions. The ease of loading is non existent. It’s gotta be a perfect math and science where everything has to fit orderly and carefully. Old washer, I could swiftly drop in my dishes without too much thought, of course with some order in mind. It worked, and it was fast and efficient. Bosch?, not so much. Their tines and dish basket are oddly shaped and designed, I have to waste time making stuff fit and work. Bowls and larger items fall and flop all over the place. This wasn’t the case before. Lastly, this video highlights the 800 series and its drying tech. Well, I bought the 300 series at close to $1,000 dollars. At that price range, you’d expect your dishes to come out dry or pretty dry. Not the case with the 300 series. They’re always all wet. Too many cons, not enough pros. I’ll never buy a Bosch again. Stop with the fancy top of the line features only reserved for top dollar units. I’m curious if the 800 is even that much better. Regardless, offer all that tech for all series because everyone wants dry dishes after a cycle. What the heck are you guys thinking? At the end of the day, I don’t get why all the Bosch love. I get it, it’s the price and perceived quality and brand reputation but it seems to me, more of a cult following, and blind perceived premium brand. If I could return it I would have but once you buy these expensive units, most places don’t easily accept returns. I bought mine from a local store and in the fine print of the invoice, “no returns”. I hope people can be honest with themselves and really give some honest feedback about Bosch. Too much positive reviews out there which persuaded me to buy/try and unfortunately, one of the biggest mistakes I could make for my kitchen.
Honestly I don’t believe Validconsumer
Talking of a two opinion delayed start of 4 or 8 hour like its a Great thing while anyting under 9 h its actually substandard. This video is badly made
I had a G.E. Profile dishwasher that came with the house when we bought our new home four years ago. It has broken down three times, not including this last time when it did not start. I’m tired of having to repair that piece of junk. All the pre-installed General Electric appliances we have have had mechanical issues. IMO, don’t buy any G.E. kitchen appliances or you’ll be sorry.
I just got an LG Studio Dishwasher. After watching videos trying to figure out how to work this thing without enrolling in a rocket science college course, I have found mostly BAD reviews and most people are really struggling to figure these super complicated controls out. I would definitely recommend NOT buying one of these. As Elon Musk would say, "THIS IS A DUMB DESIGN." WAY, WAY, WAY OVER COMPLICATED FOR A DISHWASHER. I AM FEELING RIPPED OFF. 1/2" thick manual! WOW. I just bought it today and they want $5.00 to answer my question of how to turn drying off. Ran a load of lightly soiled dishes on normal. Not very impressed had several that didn’t get clean. Yes its level. Yes I preheated water by running faucet. Yes I used the recommended detergent. Yes I checked sprayers spin freely like I always do. I may return this to Lowes. I sure wish it would work with a windows PC. NO I don’t want an emulator on my PC.
Don’t buy Bosch!! I paid $550 for a repair that was in warranty & Bosch nor Lowe’s did nothing for us even though we had a purchased extended warranty. 6:14
Bosch or LG???
I am replacing my new Samsung with a Bosch! The lower rack on the samsung is garbage, this video even mentions it. It doesn’t slide in and out properly, very frustrating!
I AM LOOKING TO REPLACE MY 2004 YEAR MODEL kitchen Aid QUIET SERIES, it was the best cleaning dishwasher I have ever seen, and quieter than any other. But I don’t want to purchase a useless BIden era machine, expected to last 750 days. No thanks….hope to find a parts source for mine…
Just got a Bosch, apparently they should start selling a separate dish dryer.
This is click bait shit
Your brain got serious problem ? Asking me to buy a OEM products by Midea ? Do you really know which company makes Samsung dishwasher ? Don’t know right ? Then shut up your mouth , stop misleading consumers with rubbish video ….
I’m watching this because my 800 dollar maytag has had nothing but problems. the tub leaking and messing up my cabinets was the final straw. dont buy it!!! the maytag and whirlpool reviewed in this video are the same models and the one I have.
Electrolux?
I know that everyone has a dishwasher that they really like. We have the Kitchenaid model that is featured in this video. Ours is soon to be three years that we have had it. We really like it a lot. It does a fantastic job cleaning. Ours has the fan drying feature, which does a great job of drying the dishes. In a house that we owned in the mid 90’s had the top of the line Kitchenaid dishwasher. It had the fan drying feature also. It had the quadwash system that LG appears to take credit. Ours had the quadwash plus two other blades, one on the middle rack and the other at the top of the tub. The newer Kitchenaids don’t have the quadwash system, just the blades. Last thing to mention is that our dishwasher is very quiet.
GE appliances are in the toilet, they’re garbage. That’s why you’ll find only GE in all of our new homes, townhouses, and condos, pre-installed. Because the developers get a sweet deal from GE, on all their out of production models, that they’re not producing anymore, but still have a huge inventory of and can’t sell them. So unbeknownst to the new home owner, they think they’re getting a brand new appliance, but really the appliance is (?) years old, from sitting around going unsold. It happened to me, my “brand new” GE dishwasher is toast, and unrepairable after just a couple years. Now I’m watching this, trying to choose between Bosch and LG?
Do not buy Samsung fridges too
It’s such BS trying to find a legit dishwasher review on YouTube. It’s just a bunch of videos made by appliance stores.
Bosch Series 6 or LG Quadwash TrueSteam?
conserve water 🤡🤡
I purchased a Bosch 800 series , it’s 2 years old repair has been out 8 times , he’s finally labeled it totaled , my repair plan will buy me a new dishwasher ,
Appliance repair guy said stay away from Bosch , they are junk
Any recommendations
I wouldn’t have any of these dishwashers!!
My Bosch finally needs a pump after 18 years of running perfectly. I think it must be about 20 years old. So, I was watching this to try and figure out if I want to repair the old one or go ahead and get a new one. I think I will go with the 800 series bosch. Hope for a repeat of the old one.
My Ariston has 26 years old. I have to buy another diswasher because it leaks water underneath. I’m really sorry to get rid of it because it always washed the dishes very well. It would worth the repair but not the work and time involved in finding someone reliable to do it.
I am hesitant between whirlpool, Bosh and Samsung… Maybe I’ll choose the one with the lowest price.
No GE models on the list at all??
