Buying a cookware set is a BIG decision. Ideally you’re buying the set that you’ll cook on everyday for decades. Your relationship with your pots and pans may outlive other friendships that you have.
But worst case scenario, you buy a trendy pan that you think can solve ALL your problems as you start off on your cooking journey. When the pan fails to do what it promises (conveniently just after the warranty expires), you assume that it’s because you’re a horrible cook, and you just order take out for the rest of your life.
My goal on this channel is to make cooking easier so that it’s more enjoyable for you. And hopefully, that makes your life healthier and more fun. With that in mind, I recommend making the switch to stainless steel. Maybe it starts with just a skillet, or maybe you’re ready for a whole set… but buying from a trusted, quality, brand like @hestanculinary will leave you with a pan that can help handle your roughest kitchen failures and help you achieve your greatest kitchen successes.

Ah the good ole I’m your friend selling tactic. Be careful on guys like this, it’s a slimy tactic.
I’ve come to the realization I just have really shitty stainless pans and the cheap "non-stick" ones are cheaper than a good stainless pan. Yes they aren’t non stick but a little oil and they’re fine, compared to my stainless which I can’t even cook anything on unless it’s liquid regardless of the amount of oil it always sticks.
YOURE NOT MY FRIEND I DONT KNOW YOU YOURE A YOUTUBER THIS IS A SPONSORED VIDEO
I enjoy a good stainless steel, but you can take my cast iron from my cold dead hands
"friend’s" don’t shill for "friends" I appreciate for the knowledge but not the mentality of your goal.
Cast-iron is #1, and stainless steel is #2. Of you can cook on cast-iron, you’re f’ed.
Now the next question is what’s more environmentally friendly hand washing or using the dishwasher everyday?
People complaining about the AD are just mad about their $700 teflon set
Best investment for your kitchen.
Stainless Steel
Carbon Steel
Cast Iron
……. so says the guy with a gas stove. having worked in a kitchen for 7 years and having an electric stove at home i can absolutely confirm a gas stove makes all the difference… assuming the gas is always a constant pressure and you dont get power surges. maintaining 400F for the "make da water dance" test (bc its the only way SS is ever non stick, curious why you and most others dont mention that) on an electric stove sucks asss.
Problem is most people are afraid to let their stainless pans reach proper heat ( where a water droplet just glide instead of evaporate… 😂
Thank you for the advice, rob lowe clone
I have blue diamond there pretty good for the price
My parents were devastated when we had to switch out a pan we found on a abandoned campsite 12 years ago and had to switch it out for a (new) thrift store pan😂
You want true non stick? use a properly treated cast iron, however I’ve been using those honey comb pans recently and there pretty alright
I use whatever im comfortable with lol
Cast iron and non-stick for me because i can buy 10 nonstick for rhe price of one of the "good" stainless steel pans
Cool transition 😊
Nah i will stick with my teflon. Font need to drown the oan in oil in order to make egg. Very cheap, dueable and no i never had to scrub it hard just pht it in warm water for a min if u burn something XD bruh

If you’re thinking about an upgrade, check out Hestan’s skillet sale between now and Sept 10. Skillets are 20% off for everyone and tend to sell out quickly, but for just my followers, anything that ISN’T already part of the skillet sale, you can use the code “TRIGGTUBE20” for 20% off.

Cast iron, enameled cast iron, carbon steel, stainless steel… 27 year veteran chef… Yup, those are the best.
Thanks for the quick info. I didn’t know that dishwasher-safe had caveats for most brands that don’t have sealed rims, this saved me from buying pans that I would have hated
My mom has t-fal so I got t-fal😭😭
Vazilion% agree stainless steel
However they gotta be copper bottomed, and not just a silly thin layer.
Good thing with stainless steel even if food sticks ..easy to clean.
Property seasoned cast iron can go in the dishwasher
Say no to advertisement.
Is good cast-iron good
Oh, come on. Pan is toxic, but that arteficial redbull is ok🤦🏻
I bet you get more toxins from bag of chips, than if you cook in nonstick pan🤡
I use my stainless steel pan for 90% of things and cast iron for the other 10
Cast iron is my go to
HESTAN IS THE BEST, I AGREE, I HAVE MANY
I do know really know that much about cooking, but I worked in the kitchen and I would always buy something cooks would use. No professional kitchen uses non-stick
Will you have any more promo codes soon? Hoping to buy some Hestan soon!
I’ve never had a problem cleaning my cast iron pans and my first one came from my great grandma in her will so it’s lasted about 3 lifetimes😂
Fr these colorful pans is a mess
I don’t have an oven to pre-seasoned my cast iron and I stir fry (with noodles) too often to use the stainless steel. What should I do?
Sponsored 😂 of course! Hexclad is great! So is cast iron! I have stainless and regular steel as well. Maybe choose the right pan for the job.
This is a sponsored video, ignore it.
That was to clean
1. You are definitely not my friend.
2. Don’t act like you’re better than me because you think I’m gonna toss my pan when it gets old.
Only stainless steel, that nonstick will fuck your body up
I want them but live in Australia 😑
You’re telling me stainless isn’t trendy? Nobody talked about it 2 years ago and now nobody can shut up about it!
*cries in no dishwasher anyway *
Link please
Just get tefal pans their expensive but last 5 years plus
That transition from the Ceramic One Pan to the Stainless steel was CLEAN
People worry too much about cleaning cast iron. Honestly 99.99% of the time nothing sticks to mine since I know how to manage heat and oil etc. but every once in a while myself or the wife will screw up and properly burn some food in it. That’s when I bust out the half of a potato and kosher salt. Takes a bit of elbow grease, then just season it on the oven top a couple times and good to go.
Cast iron last legacis
