    Twice I’ve attempted egg drop soup and both times it came out cloudy with no ribbons. The first time I thought maybe the soup had been too hot so I let it cool significantly the second time but the same thing happened. Any tips?

    So I forgot how to make it and I’m going from memory and I basically made egg broth with scrambled eggs. Oh well. I’ll eat it. It doesn’t taste bad but whatever.

    Without turmeric for me. You ALWAYS should have chicken broth at home. Love the optic of the egg ribbons.

    I do smashed garlic cloves and smashed ginger as aromatics then remove them before adding eggs
