I have watched your video several times over the last few years and you do such an amazing job.
I really feel as if I’m in the kitchen with one of our adult nieces .
Thank you very much. I hope all is well with you honey.
It looks to me that you have taken very good care of your husband’s grandmother’s embroider dish towels.
Remember every time you use them that every stitch she worked in love. šŸ’œ

It is better to add sugar with the water as it will provide food for the yeast to ferment.

  6. @Sexyredd00 on February 10, 2025 at 7:04 pm

Nice. Thank you. ā¤looks very simple 😊

  7. @wagnercruise4767 on February 10, 2025 at 7:08 pm

Great recipe but people should start making sourdough, learn about the flours quality in America and eating healthy

  8. @LALAWAY22 on February 10, 2025 at 7:09 pm

How long does it take yeast to proof?

  9. @simonramirez243 on February 10, 2025 at 7:09 pm

So many errors I’m sorry. Your cute but here’s some tips. Never add salt until the very last second cause it goes against your yeast.. also you gotta give ur yeast time to rise between adding flour

  10. @Andy-ib6xd on February 10, 2025 at 7:10 pm

Sara My loaves didn’t rise as well as yours did. I thought the a packet was equal to a tablespoon and found that it’s not. They are just 2-1/4 teaspoons. 1-1/2 tablespoons is two packets. I’m going to try again!

  11. @styled_by_jess_2975 on February 10, 2025 at 7:15 pm

    Nice!!!

  12. @darinstruble on February 10, 2025 at 7:21 pm

I’m curious. I’m struggling with getting my kitchen warm enough for the ā€œrisingā€! I’ve used the oven to put the dough in. That is working alright, but I’m curious about your burner trick. How high do you set your burner to?

  13. @pw4g492 on February 10, 2025 at 7:21 pm

    Sorry I need accuracy. I can’t cook like this….guessing?

  14. @paul50pb on February 10, 2025 at 7:22 pm

I would like to know what size of cup is it you use for the flour, being from the Uk is the flour any different

  15. @dgarnett4220 on February 10, 2025 at 7:23 pm

Hi, your special ! Good video. I put 1/3 cup sugar and powdered milk. Pretty much same recipe. But my mom did it that way. She did it by hand but I use a mixer, for 10 minutes, scrap sides down at beginning and works great. No kneading for me. Sometimes use 1 egg if for pretzels, or cheese sticks. I don’t have a fancy brand name stand mixer but seems to work just fine for me. Happy baking ā¤ā¤ā¤ā¤

Look at the bottom of the bread to see if it is done. It should be a golden brown if it is white, put it back in the oven.

  17. @FredGary on February 10, 2025 at 7:25 pm

You measure your ingredients like my grandmother used and things always came out great

  18. @handria08 on February 10, 2025 at 7:25 pm

  19. @Maul3rX on February 10, 2025 at 7:25 pm

Best homemade bread? Only used water and not milk. No Tangzhong. No egg. No butter. Not the best just based on the recipe.

  20. @jtownsend220 on February 10, 2025 at 7:26 pm

Saraa I like your recipe and the way you knead it. And I like the way you explained what to look for with the bread springing back when it’s getting just about ready to set and rise. Thank you!

  41. @2grandbabies1nana56 on February 10, 2025 at 7:52 pm

  42. @courtneytaylor4933 on February 10, 2025 at 7:53 pm

I definitely over oiled my bowl and bread at the end (for it to rise) so putting it in the loaf pans didn’t look the same as the video lol. Hopefully it still turns out 😭😭

  43. @glichasasha750 on February 10, 2025 at 7:53 pm

That was 2 cups of water dead on.

  44. @Andy-ib6xd on February 10, 2025 at 7:53 pm

  48. @serena582 on February 10, 2025 at 7:57 pm

Would this recipe work for dinner rolls as well if I don’t want to make loafs?

  49. @Renee1460 on February 10, 2025 at 7:57 pm
