KROGER IS A YOUTUBER???
Instructions unclear: I boiled my house
Doubles for a nice broth too 😋
Just dont use wooden utensils. It’s not hygienic
Don’t do that…
dont do this those oils are there to protect the spoon
Mmmm, wooden spoon soup
Dont do this! This removes the oil sealing on the spoons and cracks them, allowing bacteria to enter and grow! Just use something other than wood, or clean them yourself!
You just removing the flavor 😢
Ive boiled mine to super clean em. Aint a 1 of them ever cracked split or fail. When theyre good and dry i trem em with olive oil
🤣Boiling wooden utensils is definitely not a thing … except in this video🤣
Complete waste of energy …and spoons👍🏾
There’s a thing named seasoning
Me reading the comments while my wooden spoons are boiling in the pot:🤡🤡
Bye folisha
Please stop telling people to do this. It actually ruins your wood utensils. The water causes the wood to expand causing all of it’s oils to seep out. Which then, makes it more susceptible to warping, cracking and splintering. It also extremely dries out the wood. Stripping it of its natural oils. Those are essential to keep your utensils in their healthiest condition. Not only that, they work as a barrier to keep water and moisture from rotting the wood.
The best way to care for your wood utensils is to wash them with dish soap, hot water, do not soak and make sure you dry them immediately after use. Then, let them sit out and air dry completely before using again. Every so often, you should use a good wood butter to keep them in their best shape. Which is a combination of organic food grade mineral oil and beeswax to help replenish them. This way, they are less prone to drying out causing warping, cracks, or splinters.
Also, the type of wood you use is going to make all the difference, as each type of wood is different. Some are more softer and porous then others. If you want something very durable that is completely non toxic, more water resistant, that can withstand more high heat temperatures, with naturally antibacterial properties, is the most oily. opt for a good quality teak wood. That is what I use. They are a bit more pricey, but worth the extra money cause they are more durable and can last longer with proper care.
By the way your wood utensils are so black with mold. They are not safe to use anymore. Please discard them and get some knew ones for your own safety.
I love misinformation ♡
Btw doing this makes them crack because youre ruining the oil seal that keeps them together !! Just clean them like normal instead of listening to this bot
Nice misinformation bot
Nah complete waste of time and money.
U could also dish wash them whoch many have already said will split your wood.
