In Russia tsprof k03 coast only 330 usd .

  2. @4fun652 on February 10, 2025 at 6:50 pm

Tsprof is russian company that hides its origin. When buying their products, I would think about how they will use money.

Best knife sharpener is Manuel by hand peorid

  4. @JimmyJamesJ on February 10, 2025 at 6:52 pm

‘Cubic Boron Nitride is basically diamond’? No they are not! Why would you say something like that when you know it’s not true?
Diamond is pure carbon and cubic boron nitride (c-BN) is boron and nitrogen. They don’t even share any elements in common and they have very different mechanical properties in shear and tensile stress. The only thing c-BN and diamond really have in common is extremely high hardness.

  5. @WmOriginal on February 10, 2025 at 6:53 pm

Where’s the KME ?? Both the original and the NEW KME Precision Sharp ??? The both come with very good diamond stones and both use any brand of stones available on the market!

  6. @Supertrack238 on February 10, 2025 at 6:54 pm

On the TSPROF K03, can you adjust it to 35-37 degrees? I have the Emerson Commander which has the chisel grind, and it is difficult to sharpen.

  7. @hermanbril2682 on February 10, 2025 at 6:54 pm

Never will sell my Tormek T4. I tried these stone systems but I find them to be expensive and not very friendly. If you want easy? Buy a Tormek T2🙂

  8. @jerryhermann7233 on February 10, 2025 at 6:59 pm

Well i like my Lanski system. Low cost upfont, replacement stones are reasonable. Works just like the ones you show.

    Cons
Takes longer to get knife sharp. Would have been longer if i didnt get a dimond stone.

Got a 8" boning knife off ebay. Only the first 1.25" was sharp.

Dimond stone gave me starting point to improve on. The stock 5 stones finished the edge. Will strop after it shows up.

All up around $50 to $70 into it. So its good enough for me.

Note i have no expensive blades.

I have the Kadet Pro. There are just a few items that show equal engineering and manufacturing quality and those are quality/premium pistols. For me, the Kadet Pro is just a joy to use and I wish I had more work for me/it.

  12. @BatmanTC on February 10, 2025 at 7:03 pm

Do you need to invest in a good Homer or strop if you get any of these systems in your opinion?

  13. @martinmdl6879 on February 10, 2025 at 7:03 pm

1 Year owner of Kadet Pro. Highly recommend. A K03 will do larger knives, but the Kadet Pro did a fine job on my 18" machete with 2 separate clamp setups. All other knives, kitchen, everything = one setup works fine. Get an extra 140 grit 1" x 6" Atoma because you be reprofiling many messed up blades, for you and all your friends. The Atoma 1" x 6" set is perfect. The 1200 grit leaves a mirror finish so no need to make ANY adjustments for different stone thicknesses or strops, makes the system double fool proof and very easy.

  14. @martinmdl6879 on February 10, 2025 at 7:05 pm

I got a fine magnetic angle cube from Home Depot for $20. 98% of my knives fit on the Kadet Pro. The K03 is bigger and will sharpen bigger knives, but also requires more room. Be careful not to shove the guide rod into your computer monitor. This has happened. Don’t do it.

  15. @alexolivarez732 on February 10, 2025 at 7:07 pm

Just learn how to sharpen and use stones.

  16. @stevethedude8740 on February 10, 2025 at 7:08 pm

The important thing is that the plastic is American made. Boy did I dodge a bullet passing on buying this new one at $450

  17. @tonyeden8381 on February 10, 2025 at 7:11 pm

None of these make me want to chop in my KME

  18. @s9plus20 on February 10, 2025 at 7:13 pm

The K03 was onsale on Black Friday for $552.00 !!

  19. @Damir-FXDomination-Horvat on February 10, 2025 at 7:14 pm

Smashing video mate. What do you think about Lansky sharpening system?

  20. @theGR8it on February 10, 2025 at 7:14 pm

I have tsprof blitz for many years, damn that russian guys know how to make knife sharpener!

  21. @Ezzell_ on February 10, 2025 at 7:17 pm

Now do the top five under $100

  22. @benm2370 on February 10, 2025 at 7:19 pm

What are your views/thoughts on the base of the Kadet Pro sharpener? I’ve read a few comments elsewhere that it is too small & unstable – that one needs to hold it with a hand or clamp it down, which is a PITA. Do you prefer the Pioneer in part because a big/heavy base is available? Thanls.

  23. @PLAYU72 on February 10, 2025 at 7:20 pm

hapston r2 is the bet bargain in my opinion.

  24. @tomaszmajewski1131 on February 10, 2025 at 7:21 pm

Sprawdźcie sobie jeszcze Kazak Poland. Ma kilka wersji swojego systemu ostrzącego.

  25. @Hepta.Asteras on February 10, 2025 at 7:23 pm

You can see the Kosim sharpener hiding in the background of some of your videos. What about that one?

  26. @TheLiddokun on February 10, 2025 at 7:23 pm

Tsprof k03 is $390 in russia with the 5 stones. Wonder if i should order to Vietnam and bring to usa 🤣

  27. @Dreamrages on February 10, 2025 at 7:24 pm

Which would you recommend Kadet pro or Pioneer? I do sharpen few flexible filleting knife that’s 9inch.

  28. @ImOnTheEdge on February 10, 2025 at 7:25 pm

Boy, I’d love the K03 or Kadet Pro!!! Thanks for the reviews.

  29. @quodgenusdracolupusrex4337 on February 10, 2025 at 7:27 pm

Does the Tsprofs does axes and cleavers by any chance ?

  30. @MarkLester-q4p on February 10, 2025 at 7:27 pm

Great review, thank you. Like some other commenters, I have the Worksharp with the belt grinder attachment. Can this system ever hope to get a knife as sharp as the guided sharpening systems?

  31. @cgazmommyof3 on February 10, 2025 at 7:30 pm

CBN is cubic boron nitride or Borazon. Diamond is PCD or polycrystalline diamond

  32. @right8630 on February 10, 2025 at 7:30 pm

Why don’t you ever review the wicked edge?

  33. @timz4183 on February 10, 2025 at 7:31 pm

    Way too expensive!

  34. @Amybnuy on February 10, 2025 at 7:37 pm

So. – simple basic metal holder costs more than an iPad?!!

  35. @mikhailsiderman2191 on February 10, 2025 at 7:38 pm

Bought TSPROF K03 a while ago and still in love with it! Very well thought design.

  36. @miketye2805 on February 10, 2025 at 7:39 pm

Well by time you buy the Kadet Pro then you have to buy the angle finder at $120+ you only 150 or so from the KO3. Seems to me be better to buy once cry once. An it’s Black Friday sale right now for $500. Was gonna go Kadet until I just added it all up. It is rather large system but that’s ok

  37. @michaelbowman7398 on February 10, 2025 at 7:39 pm

Ordered the worksharp professional, hapstone adapter and the 2×6" ultrasharp diamond stones. Looking forward to upping my sharpening game

  38. @BatmanTC on February 10, 2025 at 7:40 pm

    Where’s the KME sharpening systems?

  39. @andreus_777 on February 10, 2025 at 7:40 pm

Tsprof is manufactured in Russia. F@ck them!

  40. @mibe1606 on February 10, 2025 at 7:41 pm

I have been using the Edge Pro high-end system for approx. 25 years. Using it, I produce great results. Butchers love the job it does. It also works great on $1500 hairstylist shears. Why spend $$$ when my clients love my current service? The shear attachment does a super job. Do these systems have shear attachments? Just one point: Quality sharpening does not come exclusively from the system you are using. People can’t just go out, buy a system, and start turning out professional results. It takes time, practice, study, mistakes, listening AND good gear. Neglect one, and you won’t do professional work. Doing a great job is NOT in your DNA. You can have the most-hyped system in the country without a customer- and service-driven attitude, and you won’t succeed. Just my observation.

  41. @Roberto-oi7lm on February 10, 2025 at 7:41 pm

I’ve had several guided systems and recently purchased the Ketiped system from Amazon at just over a hundred bucks. It is beautifully made and VERY rigid and rigidity is the key to precision edges. It’s heavy, and versatile including a tower which can more left and right on a precision ball bearing car (if you want) in order to maintain a constant angle on really long knives. The angle adjustment is via a screw jack making angle adjustments to the nearest hundredth of a degree possible and repeatable. It comes with everything except an angle finder.
You video gives a very good look at five different systems, all more expensive than the Ketiped but from what I see, I wouldn’t trade my Ketiped for any of the systems you so beautifully reviewed.

  42. @JohnDoeEagle1 on February 10, 2025 at 7:42 pm

Hard to take any advice or opinions seriously when a Spyderco Sharpmaker, Lansky and/or a Wicked Edge don’t get mentioned on a list. They are THE BEST……..and you will never get a knife any sharper or easier for cheaper. I never liked traditional wet/whet water or oil stones because they prematurely and unnecessarily wear out your knives relying on creating a burr and apex. You also no matter how steady you are end up changing factory geometry screwing up your knife. When someone insists "this" is the only way to sharpen a knife followed by a bunch of bravado and ego mania just simply blow them off and ignore their opinions.

These other style of sharpeners scratch up your knives. They aren’t original and knockoff clones of the original Edge Pro sharpeners that really didn’t work all that well to begin with. They certainly weren’t even constructed all that well either. The Edge Pros reminded me of a science fair project or something someone jerry rigged and fabbed up in their garage. They used wet stones rather than these diamond and made a huge mess with the slurry that found it’s way down and into the pivot bearings/bushings and locks.

  43. @JoeDurante-h8f on February 10, 2025 at 7:43 pm

Would like to know your thoughts on the Tormek sharpening systems thanks.

  44. @Микита-п9х on February 10, 2025 at 7:44 pm

It’s great to see Hapstone getting some well-deserved recognition in this review. I didn’t know before, but it turns out these sharpeners are made in Ukraine, in Sumy. It’s pretty remarkable, especially since we’re so used to assuming quality products like these must be imports, probably American or something. Seeing Hapstone sharpeners and stones featured here is really a proud moment to me as a Ukrainian. For those who due to some reason doesn’t want to buy diamonds, their aluminium oxide Boride T2 series stones are also known to be quite long-lasting.

And knowing they’re still made in Sumy — despite the city being under almost daily russian bombardment with guided bombs — makes it all the more incredible yet surreal.

  45. @Liljoozy on February 10, 2025 at 7:44 pm

Which stones do you recommend as upgrade for TS Prof?

  46. @BerzerkaDurk on February 10, 2025 at 7:45 pm

had to nope out when you said that cubic boron nitride is diamond.

  47. @lewjac3 on February 10, 2025 at 7:47 pm

What do you think about the new edge pro

  48. @shanimal1589 on February 10, 2025 at 7:47 pm

    Wait, no Wasabi? LOL

  49. @markm148 on February 10, 2025 at 7:48 pm

I get great results easily with the Work Sharp. If it holds up I myself see no need for a more expensive system. Great video.

  50. @tomlevasseur8550 on February 10, 2025 at 7:48 pm

I’ve had the TSPROF KO3 Pro Hunter for a few years and recently bought the axi cube upgrade. This is the best sharpening system I have.
