Can you add chocolate, like cacao powder? My husband loves chocolate and I was looking for something that was easy, not a lot of ingredients, and not a lot of sugar. I am thinking of topping it with semisweet chocolate chips as well.

It’s called bread pudding. People made this for like centuries. Don’t act like you invented it.

Oil pan & will release Better, or spray pam. It’s called bread pudding. Use old doughnuts they are good too. Add ins = pecans, rum, whiskey soaked, dried fruit, i.e., raisins, and or frozen 🫐blueberries!mmmmm.
Half heavy cream, & 1/2 and 1/2. Also add butter bits on top before baking, and 1/2 brown sugar, & 1/2 white. Don’t forget vanilla, cinnamon, & scant tiny pinch of nutmeg, always great in custards just pinch it’s overpowering. Perfumes beautifly!❤😂

  35. @straykittsco.950 on February 10, 2025 at 7:41 pm

This is just a blander version of bread pudding. Instead of regular milk try condensed and carnation milk with raisins… Eggs are optional and if you leave out the eggs it will last longer in the fridge.

In England they came up with this recipe because they were poor and needed to use up day old bread etc. I make bread pudding and drizzle caramel whiskey sauce on top
