Don’t do that. You basically frying starch and in the process soaking up more oil. Just use a coffee filter paper to strain away the bits

  2. @ReznorGoth on February 10, 2025 at 6:52 pm

    Love you mamah

  3. @DrewDaGod-vt6zr on February 10, 2025 at 6:52 pm

This woman be freestyling ideas😅 you wasting corn starch and oil😅

  4. @kyruula6567 on February 10, 2025 at 6:52 pm

What if said oil sat in my pot on the stove for a month, can it be saved still?

  5. @markwilson4315 on February 10, 2025 at 6:55 pm

Bottom line for me is that everything in the Planet, sky, land and sea are designed to kill us all withinin a set amount of time. No one gets out alive. Recycling cooking oil is NOT the hill I intend to die on. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I see a couple of Bear Claws with my name on them.

  6. @Bollyworldtalks on February 10, 2025 at 6:55 pm

    Just strain it

  7. @madhumitadas1799 on February 10, 2025 at 6:56 pm

So in order to clean the oil you’re frying it even more

  8. @YungSiKrey on February 10, 2025 at 6:56 pm

Im really not using TWO tablespoon of cornstarch to clean my oil. I use oil way too often. Instead I have different jars and containers so that i could put the oil there based on what i cooked.

  9. @crenshawnbillingslea1501 on February 10, 2025 at 6:59 pm

How many time can u reuse it tho?

  10. @beverlyluther-n3y on February 10, 2025 at 7:00 pm

still has the flavor of what you cooked, so reuse cooking same thing. thanks

  11. @kishmumaa2000 on February 10, 2025 at 7:00 pm

Instead of this we can directly filter the oil

  12. @lukaskahan3500 on February 10, 2025 at 7:01 pm

I just strain the oil with an oil strainer, simple and easy

  13. @psycobleach46 on February 10, 2025 at 7:01 pm

used oil is not good to save, since the high heat breaks it down and it becomes unhealthy.

  14. @m.henderson8431 on February 10, 2025 at 7:02 pm

    Just use a strainer🤷🏾‍♀️

  15. @Albert-Europe on February 10, 2025 at 7:04 pm

    Cancer 💀: yeah Boy

  16. @MrModestsamurai on February 10, 2025 at 7:05 pm

Step one: dont fry with extremely high temps. 350 is usually good for most oils because some have low smoke points which can create harful chems.
Step two: filter used oil through a cheese or cloth strainer to remove particulates.
    Step 3: profit 📈

  17. @kanchan2044 on February 10, 2025 at 7:05 pm

U make it Dubble refined so that’s not good for health..only filter it

  18. @embosytrue2903 on February 10, 2025 at 7:06 pm

    Just use a strainer lady!

  19. @luxuriousluna3514 on February 10, 2025 at 7:07 pm

    Very useful tip!!!

  20. @Norveyboy17 on February 10, 2025 at 7:08 pm

I’m Asian and we usually just use special Filter or just reuse it later but yeah this is healthier for sure

  21. @nirmalaprabhakaran3586 on February 10, 2025 at 7:08 pm

    Thankyou

  22. @TapeshTyagi-j6r on February 10, 2025 at 7:09 pm

What about the bad part of fat that formed by repetitive heating or frying which have ill effect on heart ???

  23. @Zavarcerealtor on February 10, 2025 at 7:10 pm

Umm….why would anyone even accumulate this amount of oil? Even if a quarter of that was used, it is so unhealthy

  24. @purpleheart1836 on February 10, 2025 at 7:13 pm

Any seed oil (especially canola disguised as vegetable) is absolutely horrible for human consumption!!! Don’t clean it…just don’t use it!! Frying foods at (or above) 375 degrees can cause an alteration of the chemical composition of the oil, resulting in the possibility of effects, ranging from an increased risk of stroke, atherosclerosis, elevated cholesterol, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and liver diseases. So imagine the impact of using old (cleaned oil) 😮

  25. @shayhan6227 on February 10, 2025 at 7:13 pm

Don’t do this too many times. Reheating the same oil causes cancer causing chemicals to form.

  26. @leilaglasser on February 10, 2025 at 7:15 pm

😮wow 😳 never heard of this before. Thank You Miss Pam

  35. @thebeatpoetuk on February 10, 2025 at 7:26 pm

    Nope

  39. @EnzoWithabenzo on February 10, 2025 at 7:29 pm

You’re better off using cheesecloth to remove the solids… you’re going to have to deal with a new taste using this method and you’ve wasted a lot of oil that soaks into that gunk u just put into the oil… who let their grandma out the cage?

  40. @easycooking2594 on February 10, 2025 at 7:36 pm

Mam no need to use any flour just use litmus paper or muslin and strain 🙂

  41. @emilianoadams9499 on February 10, 2025 at 7:37 pm

Can’t you just as easily strain the oil?

  42. @sashikalasubramani2874 on February 10, 2025 at 7:41 pm

Reheating..is no good. It makes the oil.more unsaturated and inflammatory! Simple strain the oil.!😅

  43. @crescentmoonjourneys on February 10, 2025 at 7:41 pm

In India, its not considered good to use heated cooking oil again and again. Its extremely dangerous for health. Oil is only supposed to be used ONCE.

  44. @michelledotell4572 on February 10, 2025 at 7:42 pm

    Wow nice

  45. @laurahill2202 on February 10, 2025 at 7:42 pm

    Thx, mom 😍🥰

  47. @LayeredVegan on February 10, 2025 at 7:44 pm

Hmm, I’ve just poured it into a fine mesh strainer, but this seems to work too.

  48. @Lilyanaxgr on February 10, 2025 at 7:44 pm

Please throw everything away. Is super unhealthy to cook with oils in the first place, even more a reused one with corn starch. Please use butter or meat fat, this is not it. Oils and margarine destroy ur health in an unrepairable way

  49. @mycupoverflows7811 on February 10, 2025 at 7:46 pm

We use a paper towel and pour into a glass jar. We don’t usually cook with regular vegetable oil though, only coconut oil, bacon grease or lard. Very occasionally beef tallow or butter. Never ever canola.
