Don’t do that. You basically frying starch and in the process soaking up more oil. Just use a coffee filter paper to strain away the bits
Love you mamah
This woman be freestyling ideas😅 you wasting corn starch and oil😅
What if said oil sat in my pot on the stove for a month, can it be saved still?
Bottom line for me is that everything in the Planet, sky, land and sea are designed to kill us all withinin a set amount of time. No one gets out alive. Recycling cooking oil is NOT the hill I intend to die on. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I see a couple of Bear Claws with my name on them.
Just strain it
So in order to clean the oil you’re frying it even more
Im really not using TWO tablespoon of cornstarch to clean my oil. I use oil way too often. Instead I have different jars and containers so that i could put the oil there based on what i cooked.
How many time can u reuse it tho?
still has the flavor of what you cooked, so reuse cooking same thing. thanks
Instead of this we can directly filter the oil
I just strain the oil with an oil strainer, simple and easy
used oil is not good to save, since the high heat breaks it down and it becomes unhealthy.
Just use a strainer🤷🏾♀️
Cancer 💀: yeah Boy
Step one: dont fry with extremely high temps. 350 is usually good for most oils because some have low smoke points which can create harful chems.
Step two: filter used oil through a cheese or cloth strainer to remove particulates.
Step 3: profit 📈
U make it Dubble refined so that’s not good for health..only filter it
Just use a strainer lady!
Very useful tip!!!
I’m Asian and we usually just use special Filter or just reuse it later but yeah this is healthier for sure
Thankyou
What about the bad part of fat that formed by repetitive heating or frying which have ill effect on heart ???
Umm….why would anyone even accumulate this amount of oil? Even if a quarter of that was used, it is so unhealthy
Any seed oil (especially canola disguised as vegetable) is absolutely horrible for human consumption!!! Don’t clean it…just don’t use it!! Frying foods at (or above) 375 degrees can cause an alteration of the chemical composition of the oil, resulting in the possibility of effects, ranging from an increased risk of stroke, atherosclerosis, elevated cholesterol, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and liver diseases. So imagine the impact of using old (cleaned oil) 😮
Don’t do this too many times. Reheating the same oil causes cancer causing chemicals to form.
😮wow 😳 never heard of this before. Thank You Miss Pam
Love to watch your amazingly informative videos
What about an oil filter, strainer, or mesh? Is that enough to clean it
Nice clean and brown

I just froth it with water and it makes a gorgeous smoothie
Thanks!
we can strain it too
How about putting it through a strainer?
Actually never knew that! Thanks
That is so dangrous, i seriously dont know where to start.
girl that’s like 3 tbs 😂❤
Nope
You’re better off using cheesecloth to remove the solids… you’re going to have to deal with a new taste using this method and you’ve wasted a lot of oil that soaks into that gunk u just put into the oil… who let their grandma out the cage?
Mam no need to use any flour just use litmus paper or muslin and strain 🙂
Can’t you just as easily strain the oil?
Reheating..is no good. It makes the oil.more unsaturated and inflammatory! Simple strain the oil.!😅
In India, its not considered good to use heated cooking oil again and again. Its extremely dangerous for health. Oil is only supposed to be used ONCE.
Wow nice
Kool!!
Thx, mom 😍🥰
Hmm, I’ve just poured it into a fine mesh strainer, but this seems to work too.
Please throw everything away. Is super unhealthy to cook with oils in the first place, even more a reused one with corn starch. Please use butter or meat fat, this is not it. Oils and margarine destroy ur health in an unrepairable way
We use a paper towel and pour into a glass jar. We don’t usually cook with regular vegetable oil though, only coconut oil, bacon grease or lard. Very occasionally beef tallow or butter. Never ever canola.
I love this woman she feels like a woman mrs rogers just your friendly neighbour helping you do things and you can vent your life to while she fixes you a cup tea.
